    Sarah Mills is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist Supervisor and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in the state of Texas. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Texas Woman's University as well as a Masters in Marriage & Family Therapy from Texas Wesleyan University.

    Sarah has a wealth of experience in treating a variety of concerns including, Anxiety, Depression, Trauma/PTSD, Self-harm, Suicidal ideation, Self-Worth/Image, Relationship Issues, Sexual Abuse, Life Transitions, ADD/ADHD, Adjustment Disorders, Grief and Loss, Anger Management, Chemical Dependency, Conduct Disorders, OCD, Boundary Setting, Goal Setting, Codependency, LGBTQIA+, Parenting, Human Trafficking, and Domestic Violence. Utilizing a Family Systems perspective, Sarah is passionate about working with adolescents, adults, families, and couples.

    With a strong background in Solutions Focused Therapy, Sarah is able to help clients set goals and find solutions to the concerns that are bringing them to counseling. She also utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy to meet clients where they are in their personal journeys.

  • RENE HAMPTON, LPC & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

    Rene is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas holding a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Saint Edward’s University in Austin, TX, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from The University of Texas at Dallas. She has over a decade of experience including inpatient psychiatric hospital setting and intensive outpatient groups (IOP) along with vast experience in the behavioral health managed care industry.

    With her vast experience and knowledge, Rene treats people who are experiencing anxiety, codependency, career change, depression, disordered eating, divorce, enabling behavior, family of origin issues, grief/loss, life transitions, pre-marital /marriage concerns, relationship stressors, self-esteem, substance use/abuse and women’s issues. She works with teens, adults, and couples.

    Rene’s treatment focus is to create a warm, supportive and brave space to collaborate and design a treatment plan that addresses my client’s personal goals while aligning their authentic wants and needs (value-based therapy) using evidence-based treatment modalities, such as: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) coupled often with specific tools and strategies using: Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Family Systems Theory, Person-Centered Therapy, and the Gottman model for specific couples/marital concerns.

  • Glynis Park, LPC

    Glynis is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), in the state of Texas, holding a Master of Science in Counseling from Central Connecticut State University. She has been in the mental health industry for 30 years as a school counselor and teacher, an advocate for special needs as well as a gymnastics coach, experience within the foster care services and providing personalized therapy to her clients.

    Treating children and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma and Glynis’s specialties. She also has experience with Adoptions, Anger, ADHD/ ADD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Behavior concerns, Bipolar, Career Coaching, Chronic illness/ disabilities, Coping, Divorce, Education and Learning disabilities, Family conflict, Men’s issues, Obesity, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Parenting, School Issues, Self-esteem, Sexual abuse, Sports Performance, Stress, LGBTQIA+, Trauma and PTSD, Weight loss, and Women’s Issues.     There are many forms of modalities Glynis prefers to use with her clients. They include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movements Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients heal from trauma or other distressing life experiences. As an avid learner, Glynis is currently training in Interpersonal Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy which helps her client’s approach, accept, tolerate, and symbolize emotions rather than avoid them. In addition, she uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) which helps to stay focused in the current moment and accept thoughts and feelings without judgment. She also practices Mindfulness, Strength-Based Therapy, Expressive Arts, Psychodrama, Narrative Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy to allow her clients focus on targeted concerns and learn collaborating coping mechanisms for healing and growth.

    Approaching all sessions with enthusiasm and genuine care, Glynis aims to create treatment plans collaboratively with her clients through exploration and active listening. She strives to be straightforward yet considerate and adapting her communication to suit client needs. Glynis strives to assist clients understand their triggers, improving emotional regulation, accepting mistakes, and identifying and building strengths. Gratitude is a cornerstone of her approach, recognizing its importance in cultivating a positive perspective.

  • Sara Ogundipe, LPC-Associate

    Sara is a Licensed Professional Counselor- Associate and has earned a Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health from Walden University. Before joining our team, Sara was a registered behavioral technician within the ABA community working with children, adults, and families. She has an established history of philanthropy, community service, and clinical mental healthcare as she has worked and volunteered with various organizations throughout her years of experience.

    Sara specializes in the treatment of Anxiety, Adjustment Disorders, Autism, Depression, Disordered Eating, Grief & Loss, LGBTQIA+ Issues, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Trauma, Minority Concerns, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and Women’s Issues. She enjoys working with adolescents, adults of all ages and provides individual therapy as well as couples therapy.

    Sara utilizes Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Solutions Focused Brief Therapy as well as Person-Centered Therapy modalities in her work with clients. Applying these assorted therapeutic approaches, enables Sara to connect with her clients in a variety of ways. Every person has different experiences, destinations and goals in their lifespan and Sara’s knowledge and compassion provides a safe and effective means to achieve individual aspirations.

    The greatest gift a person can give themselves is to embrace their uniqueness, let go of the things they cannot change and celebrate their victories. Sara is naturally curious and seeks to understand her client’s worldview and how it contributes to their personal journey.   • Stephen Simpson, LPC-Associate

    Stephen is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in the state of Texas. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Analysis with a focus on Autism and Master of Science in Marriage and Family Counseling. Stephen has extensive experience working with adolescents in various arenas, including school and clinical settings where he served as a behavioral therapist for eight years.

    Stephen has significant experience working with children and teens on the Autism Spectrum. His previous counseling experience is rooted in working with adolescents and young adults navigating life transitions, depression, anxiety, and social pressure. He has also helped clients navigate mental health conditions including, Grief, ADHD, Minority Issues, Relationship Stressors, Anger Management, and much more.

    Stephen’s therapeutic modalities include Person Centered, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. His Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) and teaching background influences his treatment approach, with a dose of humor to keep everyone grounded. Stephen truly values being a part of your journey and collaborating with you on developing goals that help you reach your milestones.

    Beyond his therapeutic work, Stephen is an educator, youth advocate within his community and self-published author. Stephen believes that everyone will need help at some point in their life. There is no doubt that life has ongoing challenges and obstacles that can leave us feeling stuck and hopeless. His energy and encouraging communication style offers peace and creates a calming environment for positive change to take place. Stephen’s desire is to help you along your journey as you seek clarity and reassurance that your life still has purpose no matter the current circumstance.   • Sarah Caras, LPC-Associate

    Sarah is a Licensed Professional Counselor – Associated in the state of Texas, who has earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Master of Arts degree in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Before Sarah’s career in mental health in private practice and crisis centers, she spent two decades as a paramedic, EMT, volunteer, medical university faculty, and a contract EMT worker internationally for the military. Helping people through challenging circumstances has always been her passion.

    After a medical emergency changed nearly every aspect of Sarah’s life, she felt compelled to really help others. She notes, “It is a privilege to be able to create a safe place where my clients can let their guard down as we explore and process their past, identify present trends, and create a solid plan for their future.” When clients view themselves, sometimes there are false beliefs about their sense of self-worth, adaptation of life changes, the strength of relationships, and it can feel very isolating. Sarah’s vibrant personality and solution focused strategies feel inspirational, and her clients truly experience the freedom they have been searching for.

    Specializing in working with individuals, Sarah treats clients going through stressful life events, major life changes, chronic illnesses, related traumas and stressors, psychotic disorders, personality disorders, addiction (alcohol/ substances), mood disorders, OCD, PTSD, trauma, schizophrenic disorders, suicide ideation, serious mental illness, anxiety, depression, minority issues, disabilities, and Alzheimer’s/ geriatrics. She really enjoys working with older teens to elder adults, active military, first responders, and veterans, who are looking to make positive changes in their lives.

    Sarah works with her clients using a strengths-based, person-centered, holistic approach to address the challenges of their unique situation. Some other modalities she utilizes are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and multicultural techniques, which serve to understand how culture and identity issues impact a client’s life experiences. Sarah meets clients where they are in life as it relates to their goals, values, culture, life stage, and unique situations all to make them feel confident, empowered, and revived.
